The Eco beams from OX & RUD Lifting Solutions include a very versatile and efficient range of load beams in a modular system. The combination of the perforated lifting beam with the various standard attachement points offers the possibility of quickly and cost-effectively putting together a highly flexible system and adapting it as required.
The various attachement points are all standardized and can be mounted either with bolts or with a quick mounting bolt system. The bolts are special parts (load-bearing parts) and must therefore not be replaced by normal bolts!
A 100% highly flexible modular system is offered, whereby, depending on requirements, a solution is possible as a normal lifting beam (suspension eye at the top in the middle), as an spreader beam (2 suspensions at the top at both ends) or as a semi-spreader (2 suspensions at the top).
Several attachement points can be mounted on the underside as required. The additional attachement elements are pushed between the perforated plates and screwed tightly with the corresponding bolts. Always pay attention to a central point of gravity to ensure a safe lifting solution.
Advantages of an Eco beam
Advantages of Eco beams from OX & RUD Lifting Solutions are as follows:
Specifications of an Eco beam
Material:
Mild steel and steel with a high elastic limit are used to produce the Eco beams. These are optionally available with a 3.1. Material certificate.
Finish:
- The primer of the lifting beams consists of sandblasting Sa 2.5 without standard: SIS 05 59 00.
- Painting is carried out in accordance with ISO 12944, category C2.
- This is followed by a coat of epoxy zinc phosphate primer.
- The finish is completed with two layers of polyurethane enamel paint:
- Standard paint RAL 2004 for the main parts (beam, central suspension eye and the attachement points at both ends of the Eco beam)
- RAL 9007 gray for the variably installed parts (BR, BMT and A see point “Delivery program”)
Certification
The company OX & RUD Lifting Solutions is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 3834-2 certified. The following guidelines are used for design and production:
- The Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG
- The EN ISO 12100: 2012; Safety of machines – general design principles – risk assessment and risk reduction
- The EN 13155:2004+A2:2009; Cranes – Safety – Loose lifting devices
- The FEM 1.001 – Issue 1; Calculation bases for cranes
- The EN 10204; Metallic products – types of test certificates (2004)
- The ISO 8539:2009-03; Forged steel lifting parts for use in grade 8 round steel chains
Eco beam delivery program
Here you will find an overview of the Eco beam delivery program and corresponding accessories:
Dimensions of the different Eco beam models
*The bolts (M) contained in the lifting beams are HV DIN EN 14399 (10.9).

- For 050 and 100 accessories: 6.5 t shackle with 7 t swivel hook
- For 150 and 200 accessories: 12 t shackle with 15 t swivel hook
- The last three digits of the item number indicate the size of the corresponding accessory. It is also listed separately in the table.
Additional component for OX Eco beams “BR”
The BR accessory is an additional, adjustable attachement point for the underside to achieve straight lengths. The (simple) drop links have a single row of holes and are based directly on the beam hole pattern with easy attachment to the carrier. If you place two BRs symmetrically, you get uniform spans of 1,600 mm, 1,800 mm, etc. With this component you can add additional lower lifting points and thus react flexibly to lifting requirements.
Model | Dimensions (mm) | Ø at bottom (mm) | Weight (kg) |
---|---|---|---|
BR 010 | 190 x 80 x 10 | 22 | 1,1 |
BR 030 | 200 x 80 x 12 | 22 | 1,4 |
BR 050 | 265 x 80 x 12 | 29 | 1,8 |
BR 100 | 335 x 90 x 18 | 29 | 3,8 |
BR 150 | 449 x 94 x 25 | 39 | 7,5 |
BR 200 | 449 x 94 x 30 | 39 | 9,0 |
Additional component for OX Eco beam “BMT”
The BMT accessory is an additional, adjustable attachement point for the bottom and / or top to achieve even and odd lengths. These (double) drop links have two or three rows of holes and are therefore attached to the carrier several times. This means you can also get intermediate dimensions for the spans, such as 1,500 mm, 1,700 mm, etc. With the BMT component you can add upper and lower attachement points to the Eco beam.
Model | Dimensions (mm) | Ø at top & at bottom (mm) | Weight (kg) |
---|---|---|---|
BMT 010 | 260 x 180 x 10 | 22 & 22 | 3,6 |
BMT 030 | 280 x 180 x 12 | 29 & 22 | 4,6 |
BMT 050 | 370 x 180 x 12 | 29 & 29 | 6,0 |
BMT 100 | 468 x 180 x 18 | 31 & 29 | 12,0 |
BMT 150 | 614 x 194 x 25 | 39 & 39 | 20,0 |
BMT 200 | 620 x 194 x 30 | 46 & 39 | 24,0 |
Quick mounting bolt system “A” for OX Eco beams
Accessory A is a quick mounting bolt system. You can use the system as an alternative to bolts in order to be able to attach and detach the BR and BMT accessories more quickly from the Eco beam. This is useful if you often need to adjust the movable attachement points to the respective load.
Model | for accessories | Dimensions (mm) | Weight (kg) |
---|---|---|---|
A 010 | 010 & 030 | 98 x 40 x 120 | 0,6 |
A 050 | 050 | 136 x 40 x 145 | 1,2 |
